FAQ

Assembling models
Do I need to cut out details?
No, the parts are already cut and need to be pushed out of a plank. They are held on very small wooden connectors between details and planks. If a detail couldn’t be pushed out, you just need to cut a connector with a stationery knife.
It’s necessary to press details out of a plank on the side where the drawing of lines on a plywood plank is thin in order to avoid burrs on details. We recommend you to check all gears before the assembling. If some burrs appear, cut them with a stationery knife for correct work of a mechanism.
Sure! We recommend you to use water based paints. Please, don’t use paints that make thick layer on details: they can obstruct the work of a mechanism.
Some models include rubber bands, a piece of sandpaper, paraffine candles and paper clips. Stationery knife and glue are not included.
You can certainly entrust the assembling process for a child above the age of 14. Our goal is to unite children and parents. So, if something goes wrong, a child can assemble it with parents.
