ABOUT EWA

Made of wood. Driven by curiosity.

We create wooden mechanical models, puzzles and builds that invite you to slow down, understand how things work and make something real with your hands.

FIRST MODELS
THE BEGINNING

Four models. Two tables. One idea.

Our first EWA models were released in January 2017. A month later, a small team from Belarus arrived at Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg with four wooden tank models. The entire collection fit on two tables.

That tiny stand brought the first international buyers and proved that the idea could travel far beyond Pinsk.

The first international orders followed to Italy and the Czech Republic.

THE EWA IDEA

Wood. Mechanics. Movement.

EWA is more than a wooden puzzle. The pleasure is in seeing a mechanism take shape in your hands — and then watching the finished model move.

VISIBLE MECHANICS
Build it. Understand it.

No batteries

Movement comes from gears, rubber-band motors, springs and gravity — not screens or electronics.

Visible mechanics

Gears and linkages remain part of the design, so you can see how the movement is created

Natural wood

Warm, tactile plywood gives every build a crafted character that deserves to stay on display.

Build it. Understand it.

Visible mechanics becomes part of the final design, so the finished build is as educational as it is decorative.

FROM IDEA TO MOVEMENT

How an EWA model comes to life.

Not a factory diagram — a journey from the first sketch to the moment the mechanism finally moves.

01
IDEA

A spark of an idea

Every model starts with curiosity and a question: what would be satisfying to build — and exciting to see move?

02
DESIGN

Engineering the movement

The concept becomes a system of gears, linkages and parts designed to work together as one mechanism.

03
CUT

Precision in plywood

The finished design is translated into precisely cut wooden sheets, ready to become a three-dimensional object.

04
BUILD

The builder takes over

The flat sheets become something real, piece by piece. This is where the engineering becomes a hands-on experience.

05
MOVE

Bring it to life

The final reward is not only a finished model — it is seeing the mechanism you assembled begin to move.

FROM 4 TO 300+

From four models to a world of mechanics.

Growth at a glance

What started as a compact launch quickly turned into a growing world of wooden mechanics — more categories, more builders and a much bigger international presence.

NEXT YEARS

More mechanics

The range expands into vehicles, trains, animals, astronomy, puzzles, décor and new mechanical ideas.

TODAY

A world of EWA

Own production, retail stores and partners across international markets support a collection of 300+ models.

🌍

Different models. Same purpose.

Inspire curiosity. Build wonder.
CURIOSITY HAS NO AGE

Why people keep building EWA.

Some come for the challenge. Some for time together. Some simply want a beautiful object with a story behind it.

For makers

A satisfying challenge, a mindful escape and the simple pleasure of building something real.

For families

Time together, learning together and the kind of screen-free memories that remain after the build is finished.

For gifting & display

A meaningful gift becomes a model with character — something made by hand and worth keeping in view.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

The story is still being built.

Every new mechanism adds another chapter to a story that began with four models and two tables. New ideas are already taking shape.
